Lovely Little Lonely
The Maine are in the process of recording their seventh album and it got me reflecting on the entire Lovely Little Lonely era. I’d been a fan of The Maine since 2012 but had never gone to any shows. My first The Maine show was actually the first stop of the lovely little lonely tour at the Electric Ballroom in London on the 25th March 2017. I went to that show with my parents as I didn’t have any friends in the UK that liked them. I’ll never forget the feeling I got seeing them on stage and hearing them play my all time favourite song (un)lost and hearing black butterflies played for the first time live. One of my favourite memories was meeting the guys that night for the first time and getting Kennedy to write my (un)lost tattoo. From there I went on to see them at slam dunk, 3 other dates of the tour and then the 2 shows last June. The whole era will always have a very special place in my heart, I started it at that first show with not really any friends in the 8123 family and ended it at the June show with 3 the maine tattoos, meeting handfuls of people that I befriended on twitter and at the previous shows and deciding to fly to California, stay with friends in the 8123 family and roadtrip to Arizona for 8123 fest. Every show is a family reunion, even if you go alone physically, you’re not alone. This album especially made me realise I belong somewhere and aren’t alone.

ok but .. insulting someone’s laugh or smile is possibly.. the worst.. why would u try 2 make someone self conscious about the way they express their joy.. like ?
